Dr. Michael Freedland’s avid support for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team In Training program began years ago through his participation in triathlons. Eventually his passion culminated in 2010 as he completed the Ironman Wisconsin in Madison consisting of a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, and 26.2 mile run. As a proud Team in Training participant and one of an elite group of people to complete an Ironman competition, Dr. Freedland is an advocate of balanced physical and mental health. He strongly encourages, from a personal and professional opinion, that individuals make healthy lifestyle choices.
